“Nana” is a great show about two 20 year old girls who run into each other on a train and end up becoming close friends and discovering the big city together. Both are named “Nana”. One cosplayer shows Hachiko- the boy crazy, innocent-looking one and Nana O-the rocker.
To get Hachiko’s look you’ll need a pink summer dress and that brown hairstyle. To get Nana’s look you’ll need the combat boots, plaid skirt, hat and black shirt. Optional black guitar case.
Maybe you remember this bad guy from your Nintendo days? Shy Guy wasn’t the smartest villain, but he (she?) could be pesky. This cosplayer has a cool DIY costume perfect for a con. Memorable, recognizable and unique!
She makes Shy Guy out of red and white felt but you could also get a mask like this (and paint on the dopey expression) or a cape like this.

Very accurate cosplay of Groot from Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy from San Diego Comiccon. Although he has a limited vocabulary, Groot makes up for it in strength.
This is obviously a DIY, but you can get a less ambitious Groot costume here (it still looks pretty cool.)
