Jawa (Star Wars)

The Jawa are relatively benign characters from Luke’s home planet of Tatooine. They tend to travel in packs (making for a good group costume) and don’t treat droids too well. They are a very recognizable race from Star Wars- even if you didn’t know their name. They are small- so they are a great costume for the kids.

This is a pretty simple costume to pull off. You just need the brown hooded robe, a black mask, and I have seen yellow or red eyes. Here is a great example.

Jango Fett is the bounty hunter from Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. He is such a good killer that the storm troopers are “modeled” after him.

A big part of Amidala’s outfit is in the makeup. You’ll need white and red face makeup to achieve Natalie Portman’s look. This is a great woman’s costume for those who want to look great at their next con or Halloween party but dont want to show too much skin.

These cute, furry, teddy-bear-like creatures are a Star Wars favorite. Ewoks usually wobble around with a spear instead of a purse, but we don’t want to take the cosplay too far!

You’ll have to piece this look together yourself. As of now there are no made-to-order ewok costumes. You can get the ewok hood and boots here. The ewok is a great costume for kids too. Because kids are short Ewoks seem more fitting for cosplay. Try here.

Chewbacca (Star Wars)

Here is a great Chewbacca cosplay. The costume is enormous-just like Chewy. Look at the detail on the fur. The mask is dead on. The pose is good too. When he is not fighting Chewbacca always seems like a fish out of water.

This costume has a couple of levels of price and quality that you can buy, but nothing like this. The nicest option is here (you can even rent it) but here is a cheap option.
